Android React Wrapper

Integrate IDmission's IDentity SDK into your Android React Native application.

Setup

1. 1

   Set up the React Native development environment based on your development and target OS.

   Download and unzip the ReactNativeResources archive. It contains the react-native, android_resources, reference, and android_code directories.

   Create an empty React Native application.

   npx @react-native-community/cli init IDMTest

   Add JavaScript code. Copy and paste the contents of the react-native folder into the main project folder. Overwrite files if required.

   Add React Native dependencies. In package.json, update the dependencies node with the following.

   Delete the node_modules folder, then rebuild the application.

   npm install

   Open the android directory in Android Studio.

   Add Android code and resources.

   • Add files from the android_code directory. Overwrite if required.
   • Overwrite the main build.gradle file with the one from android_resources.

   Modify the app project's build.gradle (see the reference directory for an example). Add the following dependency.

   implementation 'com.idmission.sdk2:idmission-mediumsdk:11.1.07.2.23'

    Click Sync Now in Android Studio to sync the Gradle files.

    Build and run the Android app.
